About Us

Bridgend Canoe Club was formed in November 1982 and has been active in many of the various disciplines of the sport. Currently the clubs primary discipline is Canoe Polo, however we have slalom paddlers within the club, who are competing at a variety of levels. The Club also has a mixture of skill levels, from beginner to international level paddlers.

Currently, we train indoors once a week at Pencoed Pool, and outdoors two or three times a week (depending on the weather) at Barry Community Water Activity Centre.
